Due to the many and severe rain falls this spring, many areas of Kentucky are so severely flooded that schools had to be closed and affected travel. worrying

We got another 4+ inches of rain here yesterday. That's on top of the 10+ inches of rain last month and the 20+ inches of snow we had. It's pretty bad here. Our local town has some flooding issues, the bridge on our road into town is closed, and it's all poop. I can't even walk in my yard without the risk of sinking. scratch

Yeah, it is pretty bad. We had 6+ inches from this last storm, plus all the rain and snow that Mr. M mentoned. That last snow storm was 14 inches. Everything is pretty much soaked. My husband's plant has 3 access roads and 2 are under water. Instead of a 20 minute commute, he now has a 45 minutes commute. Parks in Louisville, Ky are still closed. And I desperately need to cut my grass, but I think right now, I'd have more success growing rice.

I don't know about the weekend, but today it's supposed to rain, and on Thursday......yay, I can hardly wait. We've already had more rain this year than all of 2007.

Same here. There was like 6 entire weeks last summer and we didn't even get a drop of rain here. No

Too much rain is just as bad as not enough rain. Such a sad situation there. Sad

We had like a total of 3/4 inch of rain from June to nearly August last year. The Thursday storms are now on tap for late Thursday night-into Friday....joy.
