Awesome! I always did like the Celtic sound. Can you tell me more about it, the artist, the song title, was it the theme song to a movie and if so, what was the name of the movie? Is she a Welsh, Scottish or Irish singer.

This sound track is from Gods & Generals based on a movie from the civil war. The song writer is Mary Fahl, she was born Mary Faldermeyer in Rockland County, New York. She is also an actress. The song title is called Going Home. She joined October Project in the early 1990's. She writes most of her own songs and now is currently a solo singer after the band October project broke up in i think 1995 where that band have recently i believe got back together under the name October Project having only 3 of the original band members.

It was obvious while viewing the video, it was based on a war, a civil war and the title I had noticed the title. A very deep and meaningful song.
To hear her sing, she has a hint of a Celtic lilt to her voice, her style. She sure came a long way. Such talent....

We have the movie Gods and Generals.....it's a very powerful movie. Love the music.

Someday, I will be going to the movies again or watching something that isn't Disney or Child oriented. Times goes fast enough, I can wait.
