As for me..........I'm hanging in there. Sweating profusely with no ac and a hot, heavy body contraption.

Its been hot here as well, 94, 96 and I haven't seen what it is today yet. Humidity is high, sooooo, with the heat index, staying inside!

Well, there seems to be some confusion here. the media is portraying Iraq as a place where no one wants the U.S. (they also seem to forget that other countries are there too). But, the troops (most of them at least) are saying that the majority of the people there are glad that they (the troops) are there. The media claims that the Iraqi government doesn't want us there, but a recent article shows otherwise.

Congress approval rating: 12%

Bush approval rating: 28% (Average of 31.3% for the quarter)

What does this say about our leaders (and the general population for that matter) when our elected officials have an average approval rating lower than 28%?
