I'm voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would. Recent Gallup polls on approval ratings for Congress (Democrat controlled) and Bush (Republican) shows that Congress has a much lower approval rating than Bush (relitively speaking). Congress approval rating: 12% Bush approval rating: 28% (Average of 31.3% for the quarter) What does this say about our leaders (and the general population for that matter) when our elected officials have an average approval rating lower than 28%?
