All of them were taken in West Virginia.

Very nice indeed. I haven't spent a lot of time in West Va. Most of the visits I've had there were passing through. We live in KY and my brother lives in VA. Easiest way to get there is straight through.

Oh yeah. 14 inches and drifts between 2 and 3 foot. Just lovely, let me tell you.

Snow is so pretty to look at, but, the shoveling is the pits and then when it gets dirty, it isn't pretty anymore....

Snow is definitely NOT pretty. Especially staring down at it while shoveling a 1/5 mile driveway and getting a sunburn.


We also got 14-15" with 2-3' drifts. Much of the snow fell off the front of the house just like an avalanche (house shaking and all) and made a 5 foot wall of snow and destroyed many of the small shrubs.

All that white hurts my eyes. Snow blindness is a definite worry with that kind of weather.
We should be up to 65 degrees today, so the snow should be just a memory by mid-afternoon.

Snow can be blinding, hurt the eyes, I need to wear sunglasses if things are too bright.

I don't miss it at all. Snow is pretty then gets dirty and yucky and messy.

Yes it does get messy but gosh it's fun to play in!
