| The logo looks fine to me. does anyone else have a problem seeing it? It requires java to see....

The header at the top of the Forum takes up the whole top of the Portal as well and it was done intentionally as I didn't care for the looks of it with black all around it. It was made from an original photo of a lighthouse here.
Now, is the Header aka the logo?  What is the banner? Educate me to the difference. When giving constructive criticism, please explain also.
