I had no internet service through this whole holiday weekend. No one was in their office so no one could fix it.....I think they should discount my bill to reflect the suffering and aggrivation. I have been having trouble alot lately

I have been having problems with my cable service here, it is so frustrating. I call and I get a recording, no such thing as speaking to a human anymore, that's frustrating also! argh

Whenever I have internet or phone trouble like that, I always call and get my bill adjusted. Be firm but polite, and 99 times out of 100 you'll be successful. Good luck.

This works here only if you were out for what they consider a 24 hour period. The catch is their calculating is much different then everyone else's.

When I called and talked to them they were very apologetic and offered to deduct half of my monthly fee off the bill for the inconvenience. I didn't even have to ask. I was surprised (pleasantly)

If you're diligent in reporting outages, and re-reporting outages, it's usually not a problem. Since I work from home, it is imperative that my service--internet and phone--not be interrupted. I even asked the telephone tech for his direct line so I don't go through the automated crap every time. It's always resulted in a lower bill--IF you bring it to their attention...

I have heard the same quote. and....I guess somewhat that pertains to me. I have had my hopes let down so much that I tend not to get my hopes up too high, that way It won't be so upsetting.
